Greenacres is a family owned and run business. We are a family with over a 100 years combined experience and knowledge of both farming and the resources industries. Its because of this extensive experience that we understand both the environmental needs and industrial needs to produce a solution that works for all.
Greg Jackson
Owner/Director
Greg brings the largest combined knowledge to the team (not surprising, he's pretty old). He is the Man who started Greenacres Vetiver Grass more than 4 years ago. While he is a boilermaker by trade and has worked in just about every resource industry you can think of, he actually comes from a long line of farmers and is a farmer at heart. He now owns his own property where he grows Vetiver (along with many flora and fauna species). He has a vision of restoring the Australian landscape to be sustainable for future generations...this business will be his legacy.
Pat Jackson
Accounts Manager
Pat is Gregs better half and is well known for her generous and welcoming nature. In her 'spare' time she also runs a Bed and Breakfast at Greenacres so people can come and experience the farm life. Anyone who knows Pat also knows she is an avid gardener and a true green thumb. Her beautiful gardens are always a joy to walk through and boy does she know her stuff. If you want to know the botanical name of a plant then you ask Pat (she's like a human encyclopedia). Pat runs the books and keeps the business running smoothly.
Damian Jackson
Project Manager
If you want something done, ask Damian. Son of Pat and Greg, Damian can successfully organise and execute any project with ease. Also a boilermaker by trade Damian has worked in countless industries and understands the clients needs to ensure projects are delivered within quality and safety standards. With extensive Supervision and Project Management experience he has the connections and know-how to get the job done. While Greg comes up with ideas, Damian is making them happen.
Sarah Wheatley
Business Administrator
Sarah, youngest daughter of Greg and Pat, is the one sitting behind the computer and phones making sure the business is in ship shape order and all communications, media and admin tasks are executed effectively. With a Bachelor in Business and 10+ years experience working in the construction and resource industry, Sarah brings the relevant business management skills needed to support Greenacres Vetiver Grass' long term success.
